Mountains of information are available about substance use and its harms and prevention.  Similarly, materials addressing various development issues abound.   Very little has been written, however, about how these two areas intersect.

On this web page we list a selection of publications relevant to alcohol, drugs and development. These materials include publications by FORUT and some that still await publication. We also reference a few key books and research monographs and several related publications that have wider relevance to the field of alcohol, drugs and development.

In addition, we’ve added links to relevant conferences and seminars, as well as contacts for key actors and web resources.

The selection of recommended publications, actors and web resources reflects FORUT’s approach to the issue of alcohol drugs and development as presented throughout this web site.
